Seamless, secure, and incredibly simple to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moving into a new city with a month overlap, I wanted to make sure we had a security setup that was both reliable and easy to manage from anywhere. After installing the Schlage Encode Plus, I can confidently say it was the right call for us.
What really stood out to me was the installation. It fit perfectly into our existing door setup without any hassle. A small detail that I really appreciated was that it came with two different sizes of strike plates making sure it fits to any of the standard sizes. It’s rare to find a product that just "works" right out of the box like this one did.
Since we’ve been busy with renovation projects, being able to monitor and control the lock remotely has been a huge help. Whether I'm checking the status from across town or just letting someone in, it’s been rock solid. And, honestly, the Apple HomeKey integration is just plain convenient—being able to tap my phone or watch to unlock the door when my hands are full of supplies is a total game-changer.
The build quality feels great, too—sturdy and quiet. If you're looking for a smart lock that’s easy to set up and actually makes your daily routine a little easier, I’d highly recommend the Encode

Outstanding Security, Quality, and Convenience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several smart locks over the years, but the Schlage Encode Plus is by far the best door lock I have ever purchased. The build quality is outstanding. It feels solid, secure, and well-made right out of the box. The finish looks great, the keypad is responsive, and every part of the lock feels like it was designed to last for years.
Installation was surprisingly easy. The instructions were clear, and the lock fit my existing door without any major modifications. Programming and setup were just as simple. Connecting it to my home network and configuring user access took only a few minutes.
One of my favorite features is the ability to control access remotely. If I have a contractor, family member, or guest who needs access to my home, I can easily unlock the door from my phone or create a virtual key without having to hand out physical keys. This gives me peace of mind and makes managing access incredibly convenient.
Most importantly, I know my family is secure. The lock is reliable, dependable, and gives me confidence that my home is protected whether I’m at home or away. The combination of strong security features and smart-home convenience makes it an excellent investment.
I can honestly say this is the best smart lock I have ever owned. If I ever move to a new home or need to replace a lock for any reason, I will absolutely buy another Schlage Encode Plus without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Solid, Convenient Smart Lock for Apple Users

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Schlage Encode Plus mainly for the Apple Home Key feature, and it has been very convenient. Installation was straightforward, the lock feels solid, and I like having multiple ways to unlock the door: iPhone, keypad, app, or regular key.
For daily use, it makes life easier, especially when coming home with hands full or giving access to family. It is not the cheapest smart lock, but the quality and convenience make it worth it for me. Overall, I am happy with it and would recommend it.
