Power fails to the keypad

The lock frequently loses power, despite having new batteries installed. The electronic keypad loses functionality until I am able to pull and reinsert the battery pack on the inside of my home. After doing so, I can verify that the lock is functioning properly with a good power supply. It eventually fails again, and I am unsuccessful at isolating the trigger for the symptom.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] best thing I have purchased. My kids have access to the link, I can lock and unlock. my door from anywhere! If I forget to lock the front door when I leave for work, all I have to do is check the app and lock it from work! I love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock has great features, looks great, and seems very good quality. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that my original lock failed in less than 2 weeks. I called support and they diagnosed over the phone and determined the lock was faulty. They sent a new lock within a week. I just installed the new lock. Seems to be working well on day one. If it continues to work, I would give 5 stars. Time will tell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only disappointment with this device before I bought it, I read up and found that is support matter but after getting device found out that it is matter certified but not activated. Pointless to me as I am not a apple user.
