The locks have continued to perform and not disappoint us. The app is easy to use and configure. The women of the house just adores that she is able to tap her Apple watch on the lock allowing her access. We wish we would have purchased these first.

We decided that having an electronic lock on our front door would give her the ability to allow visitors to enter without her actually walking downstairs. Installing the lock was, honestly, one of the easiest DIY projects I have ever done. The hardware is very well thought-out. The installation took less than 15 minutes, including syncing it with our phones. Definitely worth the price.

Everything fit perfectly into the existing door prep, and the entire installation process took less than 30 minutes using just a standard Phillips head screwdriver. Seriously, even if you're not particularly tech-savvy, you can handle this installation with confidence; it was genuinely that easy.
Getting the deadbolt connected to my home WiFi network and set up via the Schlage Home app was just as simple. The app itself is incredibly intuitive and well-designed. The 'home key' feature is absolutely magical. Tapping my Apple Watch or iPhone to unlock the door feels wonderfully futuristic and is unbelievably convenient when my hands are full with groceries or juggling kids. No more fumbling for keys in the rain or dark; a simple tap is all it takes, and it responds instantly every single time.
But beyond all the convenience and cool tech features, what I truly love most about this lock is the profound sense of security it provides. Knowing that this robust Schlage deadbolt is guarding our front door makes me feel incredibly safe. My family's security is paramount, and I genuinely trust the Encode Plus to protect our home.
