Excellent Lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lock about a month ago. I love it. The installation was so easy and the connection and setup via the Schlage Home app was very straightforward. I love the ability to open it via a tap from my phone. Highly recommend!

Functional lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Try another brand it only worked about half the time so far this lock works all the time. The only issue I had was setting up my HomeKit where the directions were not quite spot on, but once I figured out where the differences were, it was easy to do I now have three of these these locks

Worked well for 5 years…now not so well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Encode was installed by the builder in 2019. It worked well until mid-2024 when the keypad and remote control stopped working. App is up to date, batteries replaced multiple times, reset and reprogrammed multiple times. Still not working. The app shows locked/unlocked status and log entry says “jammed” (but it’s not) so I know network connection is fine. Very disappointing because these locks are expensive to replace.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
