I feel secure without reaching for a key!

I got this deadbolt got my front door and it was a great purchase! The codes are a great feature for me. Love carrying fewer keys. It even auto-locks after a certain amount of time.

Simple and functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About 2 months in with the Encode Plus dead bolt lock. Incredibly easy to set up. The app is great for checking that you locked the door without having to get out of bed and when the door is opened either by code, key, or inside turning the deadbolt, it's only about a 2 second delay before I get an app notification.

The app is simple and user friendly. So far they seem to function relativelt flawlessly in both the Northeast (NY) as well as ocean front (NC).

The installation was straightforward, and the setup process was smooth and quick. The compatibility with Apple HomeKit and the integration with my smart home ecosystem is seamless – I love being able to unlock the door with just a tap of my iPhone or Apple Watch.

Best way to manage rental properties

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This WIFI deadlock is the best solution for all the problems you might face with rentals you can give temporary codes and you can change codes from your cell phone which makes it very valuable for rentals, I have total of 13 of these locks and I am going to add another 13th for the rest of my properties

Easy to Operate lock, with best in class support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own and use multiple smart locks, and I am saying this based on experience with Schlage.
Installation, Setup and Compatibility ::
Easy and simple to set up. One does not have to be super handy to make the installation. Most of the standard deadbolts can be replaced with no additional holes to drill or changes to the door or the locking mechanism.
And if running into issues just call support. (I did not have to, but calling this out based on my experience with the support team).

App to manage the lock:: simple intuitive design. And very easy to use, add users and remove users, track them etc.
Support :: I had issues with lock firmware update, as I had it disconnected from Wi-Fi for over a long period of time (around 1.5 years). The support team worked with me to get the solution and were even ready to ship me a new lock if the firmware update did not go thru.. can't ask better than that.
Looks and function:: Sturdy and meets the standards for a deadbolt. It looks aesthetically pleasing as well...
Improvement areas ::
Wish the lock has better integration and simpler ways to integrate with smart hubs (Alexa or Google home)
Wish the lock can auto lock based on door open or close only, and not auto lock when the door is open. (I had auto lock on, and took some getting used to, to eventually disable it).
