Easy access and convenient!

Room for Improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this specifically because it was marketed to work with the Apple HomeKit. Being able to unlock the door with a simple tap sounds amazing. But the execution felt lacking. The whole process of setting everything up was unintuitive and frustrating. I still can’t get my Apple Watch to work with this product to this day. I also dislike how the app literally force you to enable passcode on my phone in order to access the app itself. I want this to be my decision to make and not something forced down on me.

Great for multiple access

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We rent our facility and having the ability to give a limited time access is awesome. We don’t have to track down keys afterwards anymore. We can see who unlocks the doors or forgot to lock back up and I can then llock it on the app. We’ve had a few issues with some locks going offline and not downloading updates but we still like the Encode. We have 9 in use and may put on 4 more if I can get the software issue fixed.

Excellent lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this instead of the Kaba 1502. I liked the Kaba but was Leary of all the programming needed via computer. I read some reviews and the Encode was given a top rating. So glad to have purchased this lock. Installation was a breeze, pairing with your phone via the app was effortless. The easiness of giving specific codes to family members is awesome. The lock works great, hardware is top-notch and knowing when the lock is opened or closed is assuring. Also being able to lock/unlock via your phone is a great touch. I recommend to anyone looking for a WiFi lock

It’s so much easier & faster to go in and out. I love how in case of anything, there’s still a key hole. I plan on installing the same ones on my family’s homes too!
