Great to be able to control the lock from my phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I now have 4 properties with one of these on each. Installation has been a bit complex in dealing with doors prepped for something different, but I’ve managed. I like being able to give a temporary code to guests. I also like being notified when the status changes. I had a huge delivery while out of town and I was able to unlock the door while in another state. Then I was able to secure the door after the crew left. I’ve set it up so it unlocks as I approach the door. And I don’t have to get keys out anymore. As I leave I press a button and it locks.

Amazing lock

Great Addition to Our Smart Home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this lock. The ease of installation was great and how useful this lock has made accessing our house is amazing.
We swapped out the original lock (manual deadbolt) and had no issues with the Encode Plus fitting right in to the original lock holes.
The design is attractive and looks good with our existing door.
The ability to open the lock with a key, a code, or our smartphones makes it extremely easy for us to open; no matter what might challenge you with getting in (forgot keys, can’t remember the code, don’t have your phone) the redundancy ensures you always have a way in.
The ability to set codes for specific individuals has made giving the cat-sitter access to the house while we’re away very convenient. Via the Schlage app you know whether the lock is open or closed, who last opened it and when, and we can lock or open the door remotely from wherever we have internet access.
We did have an issue with the keypad on our original lock dying about a year after purchase. I contacted Support and after two email exchanges we had a new lock within a week.

Easy and secure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this lock.. ability to remotely let people in. Set passcodes for time of day. I had one and moved.. my first new house purchase was a new lock. Installs in minutes and interfaces with wireless without adapters or hubs. Get one!
