Water Pick Turns On By Itself

The Flossing / Water pump turns on by itself and the on/off switch does not work for the Flossing Water Pick.
This is the 2nd Water Pick in a row to have done this within 6 to 7 months of getting a brand new unit?
I can't recommend the Water Pick based on this.

The latest combo is smaller , lighter and rather skimpy. I like the smaller brush/flosser, but the lid is flimsy, hard to place and continues to fall off. The smaller size does take up less space.
