I performed an experiment to test the efficacy of this Waterpik: first, I brushed my teeth as I normally do, flossed and then used this device. Before using it I closed the lavatory sink drain. After its use I could see food particles, especially small bits of carrot, in the sink. To me this proved the efficacy of this dental hygiene product.
I love my waterpik. It immediately made my visits to the dentist less stressful. Even the dental assistant noticed and commented about the difference in the lack of plaque since my last appointment. I will never use a different toothbrush.
I'm 73 years old and had significant gum and teeth with problems. Brushing my teeth twice a day, flossing twice a day and mouth wash twice a day, wasn't getting it done. Even went to the dentist every 4 months instead of 6 months for cleaning. Tried an electric toothbrush, and still wasn't achieving my goal. Finally, I bought a Waterpik system. Finally, I achieved my goal. The dentist gave me a "10" after using the Waterpik. You'll see a change in a week. I was amazed with the difference!

Had a dental appointment today and my Hygienist noticed how well my mouth was. I had very little plaque, healthy gums and very little to no bleeding. The best Christmas gift that I asked for.
I originally thought this would save time by doing both tasks at the same time. The problem is if you have believe in the benefits of fluoride they are washed away by combining the 2 tasks
Recommended by my hygienist, I would agree that this product does an exceptional job for dental hygiene. The learning curve is not too steep-just a little messy at first. Disappointed that when trying to brush and floss at the same time, I lose most of my toothpaste.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Was good product until last night. Only have had it about 2 months or less and the water pik quit working . Not happy customer

Two brand new units. Both DOA.

My dentist recommended I get one of these because I'm just terrible at flossing. I loved the idea of both the floss and brush in one unit! So I ordered one. I unboxed my new item, let it charge, and then I couldn't get the floss function to work. After some troubleshooting, it seems it never connected wirelessly.
Ok. Defects happen. So I order a new one and sent the defective unit back for a refund. And I get the second one today. I plug it in and let it charge up... and the brush never turns on.
Packing it up and sending it back for a refund. I'm done. Two units back to back that don't work at all. That on top of seeing reviews that say the floss function stops working after a while, it is clear that this is a very expensive lemon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
