Great idea, Failed execution

OUR biggest issue with this product is the placement of the floss button on the handle. This leads to unexpected flossing of yourself as well as surrounding areas as the button is prone to being "bumped" on. BAD DESIGN!! The brush button also suffers the same design thoughtlessness but makes a much smaller mess. Whomever chose this placement should be sent back to "Product Evaluation 101A". Initially we did the brush/floss at the same time. Great time saving idea but costly. Why? The next dental visit resulted in both of us having 4 cavities each (~800.00 OUCH). I can't remember the last time I either of us had a cavity. Having an engineering background, I wondered why we BOTH suddenly had cavities? The only change was using this device to brush and floss at the same time. It then occurred to me that doing so removes the toothpaste/fluoride OFF the teeth leaving them exposed which likely resulted in the above. Reverting to flossing first and brushing second with the unit has eliminated the issue. ;) Finally, the perimeter of clear cover outside the "brush" button turns orange after a month or so which to me indicates there may be a leakage/ corrosion issue. You sent a replacement unit and it has done the same thing :( Coming from engineering, I understand the "Marketing PUSH" to get a new product to the "window" first and that's been accomplished. Now it's time to clean up the hurry up and get it done oversights IMO. The above defects could be easily fixed with little effort. Great product otherwise that has helped a lot with my perio issues.
We have had 2 Waterpik.. the first one worked for about a year then quit pumping.. we tried all the suggestions we could find to no avail. Purchased a replacement and it didn’t work out of the box! We love the cleaning job it does..the mechanics not so much! For the price we paid we expecte a better quality product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Two essentials in one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a standard Waterpik and an electric toothbrush separately in my oral hygiene routine for years now-- works great, but takes longer than I would like. This product combines the two and makes switching from one to the other QUICK! I easily was able to water floss with this, brush, and then used the flossing feature again to rinse. Love the fact that charging the toothbrush is magnetic, and all buttons are located right on the handle of the toothbrush. It's going to take some perfecting to get the Waterpik feature to spray exactly where I'm used to on my teeth because it's a little odd having the bristles of the brush in the way, but that's no big problem. My previous toothbrush oscillated and this just vibrates, so that will also take some getting used to, but feels gentler on my teeth that my previous toothbrush so far. Also love how compact it is, cuts down not only on my time, but counter space as well!

Water Floss and brush in one, Outstanding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using for almost a week and I'm tickled with this product . I have been using a Water Pik brush and flosser , Model WP-881W. This unit doesn't have the all-in-one feature. I find that I didn't use the flosser quite as often because I had to put the brush away then pick up the flosser. Doesn't seem like a big deal but, it hampered me using the flosser portion. The brush on the new unit is also more powerful than the older unit. Only negative I found is the tubing seems a little short. I'm 6' 4" and the first time i used it I spilled the water from the unit.

Makes my mouth feel fresh and clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am beyond excited about my new Waterpik Sonic-Fusion Professional 2.0 toothbrush. I have used a manual toothbrush most of my life, and I never realized how amazing a toothbrush can be. My Sonic-Fusion toothbrush charges quickly, holds a charge for days, and is easy to use. It comes with two toothbrush heads, a regular size one, and a travel size one. I can use it as just a toothbrush, or just as a water flosser, or both at the same time. It even has a little pulse to let me know when it's time to move on to the next part of my mouth. After about two minutes, my toothbrush automatically shuts itself off. My mouth is left feeling clean and fresh. It literally feels like I just had my teeth cleaned at the dentist. The sleek white and chrome is attractive and looks nice on my bathroom countertop, and doesn't take up alot of space. Two weeks in, and I haven't been able to find a single con about it.

Takes some getting used to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this machine for about 5 days and I have to admit it takes some time to best understand how to use it optimally. The electric tooth brush works great and is best used alone to begin with. Adding the water flosser rids your mouth of tooth paste so you are brushing with water only and simultaneously water flossing. This is what works best for me. The flossing container could be a little larger, but a second fill works as well. Getting under bridge work and into tight spaces takes time to aim properly and get the feel of. All together this machine is an excellent product that after some adjustments and understanding of its function works very well.

What a difference this has made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using the Sonic-Fusion® Professional 2.0. I have been using this for a few weeks and I love how clean my teeth feel. It has been simple to use and set up. I love that the Water pik and toothbrush are all in one making to where I do not have to have two separate appliances on my countertop. I also like that I can adjust the intensity on the brushing. I like to use warm water while brushing and using the pik so I change the water each use. The easy use of this device and the overall size are major convenience.

Not comfortable using it . Trying smaller brush head. Messy with the water pik. Had been recommended by my dentist after crown replacement and fridge work. Really disappointed.
