Even Better Than Our First Dyson

The V 15 detect is the second Dyson we have owned. As good as the first one is, and we still use it, the V 15 detect is head and shoulders above the older one. Our house is equipped with a central vacuum unit and the V 15 detect does almost as good a job as the central vacuum system. We have a dog and so have dog hair around the house. The V 15 detect picks up all of the dog hear and does it all while being very quiet. The multiple heads make cleaning any surface an easy task, and the increase in battery life is a real plus.

Slightly disappointed

This is my second Dyson, the first being a V8 animal. Wow I am very pleased with how it performs most of the time, I am disappointed that it cannot handle my oriental carpets with consistent head rotation. For the price I expected to be able to use it on all surfaces effectively.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Vacuum Has the Best Suction!

I have used Dyson vacuums exclusively for over a decade because they could always glean more out of my rugs after using any other vacuum. I finally had to retire one and the V15 was the latest offering from Dyson. This cordless vacuum is a miracle worker, has fantastic suction, and fits in the tightest spots with no cord to fight. The battery lasts well, but not long enough to clean my house in a single go, so I have added a second battery and charger to the vacuum closet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worth the money

I love this vacuum. I have no complaints except for that the laser feature randomly goes out from time to time, in order for me to get it back on I have to switch it off and then back on. Another thing that’s not really a complaint, it sucks so hard even on ECO that it’s hard to vacuum my medium ply rug & yes I have the head on the lowest setting. However, I’d buy it again! It’s really great.

Super machine with great features

I purchased my Dyson v15 detect the last of November 2021 and received it the last of December but it was well worth the wait. I wish i would of had it when our children were at home. It is so nice just to grab it and vacuum carpet or furniture. I love it. We have a Kirby and a Rainbow vacuum which i hardly ever use now that I have a Dyson. Every household needs a Dyson!
