We have 2 old English Sheepdogs shocked at the fur. Not picked up normal vacuuming . Then dyson cleans my carpets ,tiled floors,hardwoods that I thought were clean.
The only thing I wish was that run time is only 40mins on auto setting which I run it on. The eco will get 70 mins but I don't think its as good. Its takes 4 hours to charge so I really need to buy a second battery to do my home. But saying that can't imagine ever having any other vacuum

Great vacuum, laser light really lets you see the dust. good suction power, versatility of accessories. Max power drains too fast the battery but is barely used as in auto or even ECO mode you can clean most of all areas.

This is my third Dyson! No regrets for ever purchasing the first one! Love the pick up from the carpet & easily movable throughout the house with hard wood floors, carpet & tile!

Never thought I would enjoy vacuuming!

I went from being someone who hated to vacuum simply because dealing with the wire cord of my Old vacuum cleaner and the way it would wrap itself around itself made me nuts to the point where I would just put it back in the closet and use my swiffer. The Dyson is so simple to use, to clean, and the manual online tells you everything you need to know. I love the laser light and now usually vacuum at night or when I can make the rooms very dark because it’s so satisfying to see what it’s picking up. I knew they were expensive and when my husband came through the door with it, after I threatened had asked him to never bring me a vacuum cleaner as a present, which he didn’t, #smart man!, I thank him for buying it every day !

Heavy in the top

My arm is so tired because it is heavy on the top. I wish the motor is in the bottom like the regular vacuum. I am not sure yet if I will keep it or return it.

Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that in your use, you've found the V15 Detect+ to be too top heavy. The operational weight of this machine is 6.8 pounds, which does include the weight of the wand and floor tool. This model does have the motor, bin, battery and a hidden combination/crevice tool all held in the hand. This does contribute to more bulk or weight of the machine being held in the hand. The position of the motor allows the wand and floor tool to be removed, so that any of the attachments can be connected to the bin, for handheld use machine this a more versatile machine.

Great suction, awful container

Love everything about the vacuum except the container. Very difficult to empty fully, lots of items get caught deep requiring sticking hand in to pull out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
