Bought mine almost a month ago..love it! So nice to not have to plug in...it's crazy how much this picks up. My place isn't huge..so haven't needed full battery..but seems to last a good amount of time. Dyson was extremely helpful with a delivery issue and resolved it quickly-glad I bought direct.
I have 2 cats that shed ALOT! This vacuum has been so amazing keeping the hair gone. All the attachments make it easy to reach even the hardest places. The battery life is extra long. I can go for several days without charging it vacuuming several times a day. The vacuum is so easy to maneuver and so light you hardly feel it. I absolutely love the filtration system keeping all the dander down. I would 10/10 recommend this vacuum to anyone!
I purchased for our new home. We are now one level living in a townhome villa. We have area rugs. The vacuum states that it will do carpet and flooring. I can’t seem to use it on carpet, think or thin. It is excellent on the floors and I love the green light to show areas that I would have missed. I don’t want to buy another vacuum just for the carpet. I may have chosen a different model. Hope this is helpful

This is our second Dyson V15 Detect. We liked our first one, but it started falling apart two months after the warranty ended, We tried calling for support, but they couldn’t resolve the problems we were having. We did love it when it was working and thought maybe we just got a lemon, so we purchased a new one. We love the performance and how we can see the dust and dirt with their light and also the powerful suction. Hopefully this one will last longer.
