I m not too happy. Its does not have the power lock. Its heavy and make my hand hurt. Its not sucking well .you have to roll few times .

In general we are very pleased with the V15 power, portability and charging. The exception comes to the gimmicky section releases and power button. After one hour of vacuuming I am suffering severe finger fatigue. I believe the price is a bit high. Nevertheless, as of now I would d finitely recommend the vacuum cleaner.

I bought it as a Christmas gift for my niece, what she asked for…and Uncle Santa never disappoints!!! We shall see about quality and performance at a later date

Not Worth The Money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the amount of money I spent on the Dyson V15S Detect Submarine Absolute, it was not worth it for one. I do own a Dyson V8 & a Dyson V7 Cordless vacuum and love those two models. However, the only reason why I even purchased the Dyson V15S model was because of the Submarine wet/dry mopping head. I put it to the test on my tile flooring and it didn't really do a whole lot as far as mopping. I was disappointed that it didn't meet my standards of cleaning and I sent the Dyson back for a refund and just stick to my Bissell Crosswave for cleaning my floors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely 100% dyson v15 detect absolute gets the job done. It's a very thorough mean cleaning machine. However it can use up a battery in a short amount of time depending on how you use your vacum for how long and the amount of space your cleaning. I found that the micro dusting vacum head definitely shows everything your regular vacum or dust mop doesn't pickup but not to worry because the dyson detect will pick up even the smallest amount of dust and dirt particles. After using this vacum the first few times I now belive I have developed OCD issues but no worries as my dyson vacum will assuredly help me tackle it all. Just for reference I have 1880+sqft home with over half of the flooring LVT and 3 medium size dogs that shed.

Fragile

We have had our v15 for just under two years. Great suction, lightweight and maneuverable, and lack of cord are major positives. We bought a 2nd battery and filter, both of which are valuable for not having to stop right in the middle of whole-house cleaning. Unfortunately I can't recommend the vacuum because it is very fragile under normal use. I had one power head replaced under warranty within 2 weeks of purchase because the electronics were not working; now the exact same issue has cropped up with the replacement power head. Also, a plastic clip has broken on the dustbin release mechanism which prevents us from emptying it without taking the dustbin off completely. Additionally, the plastic on the gold, scalloped part of the vacuum previously cracked so that the vacuum was no longer pulling suction, but I was able to replace that because of the new power head I had previously received. So back I go this afternoon to the warranty team...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
