The BEST vacuum I’ve ever owned!

I learned about the V15 Absolute from my friend who purchased one and loved it. I hesitated to purchase even tho I needed a new cordless vac desperately due to the price. I finally bit the bullet and ordered one and let me tell you it’s worth every penny!! It is truly amazing with an attachment for everything to thoroughly clean your home and car. The fluffy attachment with laser light dust and debris detection gets every speck of dust and dirt from my hardwood floors. The power head that I use on my rugs and carpets is phenomenal and adjusts the suction as needed for maximum cleaning power. I’ve been so amazed at how much it lifts from upholstery and mattresses as well, leaving me feeling so much better about being able to truly have a clean home. I highly recommend this vacuum, it’s the BEST I’ve ever owned in my 40 years as a homeowner!

Makes vacuuming fun

This vacuum has many positive features: lightweight, no cord to drag around, highly maneuverable, laser light that shows you what it will vacuum up. Really enjoy using this machine. Best vacuum we have ever used.

Good machine but too heavy

Liked the machine but found it to be too heavy. We are 70+ and didn't realize this vacuum was heavier than earlier models.

I wanted to like it more!

Have had the Dyson v15 now for a month. I love the cordless feature and how lightweight it is. Unfortunately, I don't think the suction is what I had expected and the the bin fills up very fast and the filter needs cleaning often. It feels like a lot of work to maintain it. Am now using it for daily spot cleaning vs. serious whole house cleaning which seems to make more sense for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear of your frustration with the suction. The V15 features 3 power modes: eco mode, auto mode and boost mode. While eco and auto modes are both great for the majority of cleaning tasks, the boost mode is designed to be a temporary boost of power for particularly stubborn messes. We recommend using boost mode as needed.
The V15 does have a max fill line to prevent excessive build-up in the cyclone shroud, and depending on your cleaning tasks, you may need to empty the bin more often.

I love the laser!

I am a 60 year old female and I don't find this vacuum cleaner too heavy for my small hands. The empty button on this model is easier to use than on my original Dyson stick vac. I love the laser light that shows where the dirt is. I have a dog who sheds year round and this vacuum cleaner is able to keep up. So far it's better than my Roomba!

Only had a short time but so far totally satisfied. Great suction. Can’t believe what other machines have left behind that this machine picks up and fills canister. Laser light is best I have ever seen. Old vacuum had a light which was very helpful at spotting dust and debris but the we green laser takes it to a whole new level. Another very noticeable feature is the long battery life. I can do the whole house on 1 charge with battery life to spare. There is a battery time left counter while in use as well. This is our first Dyson purchase and we are very impressed!
