Only have positive things to say about this vacuum. I use it all the time, so easy to just grab and pick up stuff in kitchen and around kitty litter. I find I use this as my regular vacuum most of the time. it was totally worth the price and have recommended many times.

Finger cramps

My house is decent size so by the time I’m finished vacuuming my finger cramp pain is a major struggle. I don’t understand why there isn’t another option?! Mind blowing!

The Dyson V15 Detect cordless machine will feature a runtime enhancing light touch trigger, which requires little pressure to run the unit as well. It may also prove helpful to ensure the unit is held with a firm, but not a very tight grasp, given that the light touch trigger does not require a very hard press or grasp to operate.

Love my Dyson!

I have been wanting to purchase a Dyson for years! I have a great central vacuum system, so I purchased the Dyson thinking it would be just for small cleaning needs… no need to pull out the central vac anymore, my V15 works incredibly well!
I purchased the stand and added an outlet in my pantry so it’s near by for use and always charged.
Very very pleased with this vac!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery life too short

I purchased the V15 Detect after my V11's suction stopped working. The V15 works well however my only complaint is the battery life. I had no problem cleaning my 2 story home with the V11 but with the V15 I can do around 3 rooms only and it will die on me. The V11 was no longer being made and I was rather desperate trying to get another CORDLESS vacuum. Not sure if I would recommend the V15 detect based on this issue,

Eh…it’s OK.

After settling in with this model, I’m really missing the older versions of Dyson. Lots of new “bells and whistles” but the extra weight and higher price point don’t really make the V15 Select the star that the very early models and V8 were. It’s “fine”….but eh…nothing special.

The clear dust bin is larger on this machine to allow you to clean more of your home with less stopping to empty the bin. Just amazing.

I’ve held out so for long because of the price tag. I still think it’s expensive but I see why. I vacuumed with my new vacuum a day after I vacuumed with my old and my new v15 canister was filled. I couldn’t believe it. And just the simplicity and ease of this vacuum is amazing.

Upgraded from a v10 to a v15. Glad I did! You won’t be disappointed. Long battery life, great suction, extra features like the light etc. all make this a great cordless vac.
