We bought our first Dyson a few years back and within a few months a part had to be replaced. Then 3 months ago, we had problems with it holding a charge. We took it in for repairs and Dyson replaced it with their newest model, which was very generous of Dyson. Its very nice, however it's very hard to push on thick, dense pile carpet...Other than this we really like Dyson product and their customer service it top notch!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this vacuum! I can’t believe how great the suction is and all the dirt it picks up. I thought my old vacuum did a good job but after using the Dyson not even close! I had an issue with one of the attachments but customer service was great and sent me a replacement that day. Best purchase to date!

Light and handy to use; there is a tool for every situation which are easily changed. I had trouble with the high torque cleaning head but issue was quickly repaired by Dyson. Anti tangle feature works perfectly. Probably the best feature is there is no cord to deal with. The battery lasts long enough to vacuum my 2300 sq. ft. house. Be aware the unit has to be emptied often as it collects debris as does the dust filter. This vacuum is worth every penny!

Difficult to empty

I really love the product but find it very difficult to empty. I am an older woman who has to lay it on my kitchen island to remove the base to then empty it. I find it very awkward, but it picks up all of my long hair and has great suction to do all the tasks I need. My fingers do at times have difficulty changing the heads.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Product is good. Accessories are less then V10.

I like the product. However I bought few months ago V10 to my sister. Even though it was 300 USD less, had more accessories and docking station.

Many attachments but who cares because I cant get it apart to attach any.

Thank you for your review. This is Miella from Dyson. We're sorry to hear of your frustration with your Dyson V15 Detect cordless machine. The V15 Detect features to Quick-Release connection, so the tools can easily be switched between each other.
Out-the-box, the Quick-Release connector may be stiffer as it is newer plastic. However, after several uses, the switching of tools and attachments will be much easier.

Wish ot had more suction

I need to go over areas several times to pick things such as kitty litter. Very frustrating. Heard so many good things and it took me a very long time to purchase because of price now I'm disappointed.

Your machine does come equipped with three modes of suction power, with run times that will range from 5-60 minutes, which vary depending on type of flooring you're cleaning, and the tool being used. If you find that a motorized tool isn't picking up something, we'd recommend adjusting the suction mode. You can also try using a different tool to see if that makes a difference in the mess you're cleaning. Best vacuum ever....

I just purchased a Dyson V15.. its the best vacuum I've ever used..the power is unbelievable....it'll pull up your carpet with a ton of power...Its the best vacuum I could have ever bought...and I won't ever buy any other brand because this Dyson V15 does it all plus some...it's AWESOME
