CLEAN AIR FILTER!!!/Poor customer support

I've had this vacuum for a year now and every time I use it, it says the air filter needs to be cleaned. Even the first use straight out of the box. I have spoken to customer support multiple times and I haven't been able to resolve the issue. The first step is to replace the air filter. Only problem is air filters haven't been available since I purchased the vacuum. For a machine that is this expensive, it should work as advertised and unfortunately this has not.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ok for the money

I’m a Dyson fan. I have the animal slim ball upright and just got this V15. I had the old animal upright from 2004 and it was the best ever until the plastic parts started to fall apart more than 15 years later. I will say for getting cat hair out of my cat tree the upright does 100% better job. I actually had to go over it with both vacuums to get the job done and only the upright got it all. The V15 is superior on Hardwood with its laser light but lacks big time on crevices where pet hair is compacted (like my cat tree or stair risers). I’m a bit disappointed because I was hoping this could solve my problems doing stairs and my cat trees. I still love it but maybe not for the cost.

Beyond disappointed!

I was so excited to get the V15...But, I will have to say of all my Dyson's this is the most disappointing. It is loud and not a lot of pick-up. I am greatly disappointed considering the hype and the cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

OMG!! I’m actually speechless

I just used my new Dyson V15 Detect and I don’t know if I should be amazed or appalled. The laser detects EVERY spec of dust and ever little piece of dog hair that I could not see with the naked eye, and picks it ALL up. I didn’t realize how dirty my tile floors were. The V15 is 10x strong than the V7 I have, and even much better than my Dyson Animal Allergen Ball. I would actually buy a backup vacuum but I’m sure then next versions will be even better (if that’s even possible). I’m a Dyson owner for life!!

Having an issue

I just got the V15 Detect. I used it once and it said I need to clean the filter. I only vacuumed for 5 minutes. The filter is clean when I looked at it. It says it every time I vacuum. I like it.. does a good job.. just am annoyed with this filter issue. Is this normal?

Honestly, the best vacuum I have ever owned. Great suction. My husband was skeptical and hasn’t liked a single vacuum we have owned since we purchased a Rainbow UNTIL we bought our V15. He loves it!

Dyson makes a game of vacuuming the floor!

We bought this with little research because our Dyson V8 broke.
I must confess, as I was unpacking all of the attachments, I thought, “this vacuum package is a bit over the top. Who needs all of these attachments?!”
That thought was confirmed as I pulled out the last head which had a laser on it. “Who the heck needs a laser on the vacuum cleaner?!”

though I had to plug it in and see what it did. I have been vacuuming regularly ever since. The laser shines a bright light on cat hair, dirt and other goodies I never would have seen. And scooping them up is like Tetris. The thing even keeps score for you! Well done Dyson. Don’t every let me tell you what I don’t need!
