Cleans well but poor battery runtime.

We used it for 2 days and ran auto mode on the carpet floor, the Dyson V15 ran only for 20 mins. It really does suck out the dust well. Returning it due to battery time and because it takes 4 hours to charge completely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for your review. The Dyson V15 has 3 cleaning modes that output different suction power levels for different flooring and job types. This one can provide up to 60 mins of runtime, but actual run time that will vary based on power mode, dust level, floor type and/or attachments used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really well made product by Dyson. It is a bit heavier than expected, so the mounting it is a bit challenging. I wish they had sturdier bracket for mounting since the vacuum is on the heavier side. I absolutely love the fluffy optic cleaner head - you can see all the dust particles on the hardwood floor that is not otherwise visible. Hair screw tool is a great plus too, helps when vacuuming the bathroom floors. Overall a good investment for a powerful vacuum.

I thought this vacuum was going to be a game changer. I couldn’t be more wrong. First of all, the best thing about it is that it is definitely extremely quiet. The battery lasts quite long as long as it’s in auto mode. I don’t care for the fact that you have to change heads to vacuum carpet and floors. Also I feel the particle graph is pointless. It never changes and doesn’t reset itself. You have to manually reset it. There is basically no instructions provided with the vacuum. The online chat is less than helpful as well. Not thrilled with this purchase considering how expensive it was. This is now my third Dyson and rest assured it’ll be my last.

So after a year the v15 we bought die. Dyson was kind enough to replace it, but a year is all it lasts? Anyway the one they replaced it with came in with a broken wand that they had to replace. So far the quality vs price is certainly not there.
