This vacuum is almost as good as a corded model and it is much lighter. I have always dreaded vacuuming, bit with the V15 I do not dread it. I grab it, does the vacuuming and shortly I am done without having to deal with a cord. Love it especially on hardwood.
I upgraded from the V8 to this V15 and it's been a game changer. Cleans better and the laser really helps to see all the dust and hair on the floor. My only complaint is that it's very heavy and cumbersome for most tasks. After using it for 15 mins. My trigger finger hurts and I've developed a callus on my finger from use. Dyson, make it lighter and it will be perfect.
I love the vacuum on wood floors. Seeing all the dust and particles being picked up is satisfying. The carpet attachment does not work at all on thick carpet. It just freezes and shuts off. I did adjust the settings as described and it will work if I really put a lot of effort into dragging it but it shuts off a lot. I ended up doing carpet with the little couch attachment. Not my favorite experience

Uncomfortable to hold due to rough edged plastic. As crazy as it is the suction is TO good, so much so I can't vacuum rugs with it even on Eco mode.
Great attempt but needs refinement.

I have tried plenty of vacuums and plenty of brands, we own a housekeeping company and I can say that this blows most vacuums out of the water for rugs and hard floors. I bought one for my own home because it made keeping my floors clean, with two kids and a german shepherd this is just so easy and convenient. I would recommend, be sure to take advantage of the amazing tools it comes with!
I just got mine, so I haven't figured out some features, like the detect light, but my initial reaction is that this is a very good machine. It's nice to see(although surprising ) all the dust that it sucks up. Amazing!!! Also nice to vacuum without a cord!
No have new 15V Dyson and the power head doesn't work. worked lass then 30 seconds new and stop turning.
