I bought this, our 3rd Dyson vac, & it hasn’t worked at all since receipt due to the wrong battery it was supplied with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The V`15 was far more difficult to assemble than our V-12. This is mainly due to the poor graphics provided with the "instructions". Our neighbors have a new V-15, and experienced the same difficulty in attempting to assemble the suction "tubes or wands" to the motor "head".
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this and was great for a while. Then the airway blocked message started. You clean it and the same thing pulses. You can see through the tube and the floor tool and nothing. YOu can take the tube and tool off and it runs fine. Wish I had never gotten rid of my Oreck

Hard floors but not carpet

This vacuum is awesome on my stairs and hardwood. But it will strain or even stop on my carpets. It doesn’t do my area rugs much at all. This is quite a bit of money just for floors. Be aware.

Was really excited about purchasing to be totally disappointed by performance. Only worked well if in boost, which meant you have 9 minutes before needing to recharge. Our carpets are thin too, so I can only imagine what thicker carpeting would be.

The actual run time you will receive will vary based on power mode, dust level, floor type and the attachment or tool being used. You can expect anywhere from 5-60 minutes of run time. We're sorry to know that you only found the boost suction mode to be effective at cleaning your home. We understand that you've decided to return your purchase. I bought this for my girlfriend. When I tried to put it together, I realized that the wand would not fit into the base, so we have not been able to use it. We have not been able to get any response from Dyson. It is a terrible company. I have notified American Express not to pay them.
