Unfortunately I had to return my Dyson v15. It wouldn’t hold a charge and was hard to push on my thick carpet.

Battery life is extremely short, even while using auto/eco mode. Replacement/spare batteries are overpriced. Dust bin is too small even for medium sized homes (you will need to empty it a few times for a medium/big sized job) for the price I paid I'm disappointed.

I bought this the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute one month ago. I absolutely love the portability and power this machine has. The attachment with the green light illuminates the vacuum path to guide me through my house in a thorough way. The easy to pull out hand held attachment allows to me to get the nooks and crannies. I love it!!!

Most of the weight is near the handle at the top. This plus the button that needs to be pushed down, puts a lot of strain on my hand, wrist and forearm. This is a big problem. Suction is okay but could be better. It pushes dirt around without sucking and i have to hit it from different angles. Surely for this price it should perform a bit better. My husband bought this vaccuum without discussing it with me. I told him he bought himself a vacuum he likes so now vacuuming is solely his job.

I'm very sorry to hear that your experience hasn't been up to our normal high standard. We do our best to provide a first class service to all our customers, I'm concerned to see that we've disappointed you on this occasion.
Prior to this vacuum, I had the Dyson v10, which I liked very much. I am still getting used to this v15. I preferred the manual features of the v10. I find the circular screen for this v15 not particularly user friendly. For example, I want the vacuum to stay on the "eco" feature bc I don't want to suck up so much of my rugs fiber. But it seems to keep putting itself back into a stronger suction mode so I have to mess with the circular screen every time I use it. I expect it's probably just me being old fashioned, but it was easier and I felt way more confident that I knew what was going on with the v10.
I would recommend this to a friend!
