I picked this as my work anniversary gift. I love all the attachments and glad there’s videos to reference. Easy to assemble and operate. Scary attachment is the one for wood floors with the green light. You think your floors have been clean until you get this vacuum.

I love how easy this vacuum is to use, and living with dogs, I use it every day. That being said, I've had it a couple of weeks and the seal in/on the bin broke. While emptying the canister it fell into the trash can. After further investigation this seems to be a reoccurring issue. I shouldn't have this issue, at this price point, after a couple weeks of use. A new bin is on the way and I hope the issue will be resolved.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Detect head makes vacuuming almost a game!

Used this for a month, and so far it is the best Dyson ever! Amazing suction, and the detect head makes vacuuming our floors almost an arcade game! The second motorized head has the power to get deep into carpet. The best stick vacuum we have owned. Very pleased with the purchase.

I've had the same Dyson for sixteen years. It was AMAZING! Then we had a house fire; goodbye, faithful friend. I went to the reviews to get the best Dyson available today since I plan to use this for another sixteen, and this delivers on every level. I don't think I have had a cleaner house ever. The light to see all the dirt you didn't notice is either a game changer or an OCD nightmare. Either way, happy with my purchase.

I have a black german shepherd and a white sofa. I couldn't believe how well I was able to clean off all the dog hair. I didn't realize how much dust was in the sofa either. Then I tried it on my return air vent and got all the dust off of that. The two different rollers are great too. One is good on my carpets - again got the dog hair. The other works very well on my tile floors. Neither gets tangled up with hair. I'm very happy with my purchase.
