Very happy with the vac, with one exception

My only complaint is there seems to no no attachment that works well on carpeted stairs

Didn’t come close to the DYSON quality I’m used to

This vacuum should only be marketed for a car!!this absolutely sucks on carpets and hard floors. And please don’t even try it in a high pile carpet— even with adjusting and using every option available — it didn’t even pick up popcorn kernels that had fallen between the carpet! And the battery life is a JOKE! I’m returning it tomorrow. I had it have it several chances and it’s going back!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The V15 Detect does feature the digitral Motorbar cleanerhead as well, which has a manual adjustment levering at the front. Along with this levering, the V115 features three power modes, including a boost mode that's ideal for stubborn debris and messes. Depending on the mode or combination of modes used, the V15 features up to 60 minutes of run time.

Sent me the vacuum without the connector part

Not happy. I got sent the vacuum. Had a scratch on it and missing the part that connects the hose (stick part?) to the actual vacuum so I can't even use it. I love dyson but I am so very disappointed in this. Did I get sent an item someone forgot? I had to watch youtube videos to make sure I wasn't crazy because I couldn't put it together no matter how I tried. At least the tools click in so that part is there. I was looking so forward to using it.

Particle counter is unreliable and fails

I purchased a V15 Detect in Oct 2021, and since owning it, I've had the particle counter fail three times. Each time it failed, I would try to turn it on in the settings, and the menu would go blank. Then, each time I would take it in for servicing, they would replace it with a new body. Finally, each time the particle counter would fail again. I finally told Dyson I didn't want to replace it a fourth time and returned the vacuum. The particle counter is just a gimmick and very prone to failure. Dyson needs more development on their particle counter to make it more reliable.

Best for Hardwood Floors

We have hardwood floors throughout our house and the Dyson V15 is the best for cleaning all the dust and pet hair. This is the first battery operated vac we have owned and so far the greatest. Don't know why we waited so long to purchase one. Well worth the money.

I love the long run time

As an 84 year old male I love the long run time. We have only wood floors with throw rugs (I think my wife is trying to kill me) so I love the attachment that shows the dirt and then gets it. Also all the power with the carpet attachment plus the ease of emptying the large tank.
