Easy & light!

I bought this vacuum to have something lighter, it surely was. Lot of nice extra attachments. It swivels around everywhere easily. You just have to keep the button pressed down to keep it running though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worked great for a little while

The v15 detect has great suction and was doing a great job cleaning my house. The laser works great and really shows you how much dirt is on the floor, which can be scary. We use the hardwood floor head all the time to clean up after 2 kids that are constantly dropping food all over the house. The carpet head almost made it through one full house cleaning but stopped spinning and has not worked since. I wish all attachments would of worked longer especially for the price of this vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're glad it's been such a useful tool for you in your home. Having said that, it's very disappointing to know that your torque drive head only worked once for you. It does sound like perhaps there may be a blockage within the head, or something wrapped around the brush bar which would cause that to not spin properly. Our 4th and best yet by a long way

The suction is great and the microfiber hardwood floor power head with laser is amazing. We have two dogs so there are hair clumps hiding everywhere, but the laser let's you see them and focus on on the really dirty areas. Only comment is it comes with more tools than storage points, so had to purchase a 3rd party tool storage extender.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing

Very disappointed with the battery life. It does not last an hour. The moment you use medium or high mode battery drops. On high mode, it will only last 10 minutes. Also, none of the attachments are long enough to cover the entire perimeter under a king-size bed. The light feature is nice but the suction does not seem strong enough as you have to go over the same area a few times if using low mode. I really was expecting more from this vacuum. At the very least, at this price point, this product should be offered with 2 batteries since 1 does not last long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the run time that your Dyson V15 Detect Absolute provides, in the varying suction modes. Depending on the power mode in use, dust level, floor type and attachment or tool used, you can expect anywhere from 5-60 minutes of run time. You won't receive a full hour of run time in any mode, using the floor tool. The batteries in this machine do click in to place, and an additional battery/charger can be purchased, should you desire, to help extend your run time. Received defective item

I ordered this product and received it after a week. After I set it up, I realized the screen doesn't work and I thought it might have no charge. So, I let it charge for 24 hours, screen back on, but when I trigger the start button, the machine works for a couple of seconds and stops working?!?!?No battery light on, no error, nothing, it just simply didn't work. I let it back to the charger and after a couple of hours tested it again still not working.

Poor Product and Quality

Only 2 months old and it’s already broken. The seal around the collection door is distorted, this a poor design. Very expensive product with terrible design

I wanted to love this

I saved for months to be able to afford this vacuum. I have a short hair dog and live in a new build home - so between dog hair and dust, I needed something I could trust. Since the day I owned this vacuum, it has gotten clogged within minutes of purchasing. I have followed all of the instructions in cleaning it, I never let the chamber get too full, but I end up having to clear it out every few minutes. I do not have a large home, and I am a clean freak so it isn't like I am leaving piles of dust bunnies around. It gets clogged over nothing. I have had it a year now because I so badly wanted to love this product, but it just doesn't work right at all. So sad. This is the first issue I have ever had with any Dyson product.

Better than the V10

I own a V10 Animal that was showing its age. I replaced it with a V15. The V15 is batter all around. More power and less noise. The digital feedback is cool too.
