I love how thorough this vacuum performs. It has been a game changer for me in terms of keeping the pet hair, environmental dust and dirt off of my porcelain floors and area rugs. I love that it saves time and keeps my home clean. The maneuverability gets into even the tightest places. I find that I can clean my 27000 s/f home in half of the time as my previous cleaner with plenty of battery life to spare!

I had a 15 year old Dyson Rollerball for pet hair and it was slowly (and loudly) announcing it's retirement. This vacuum is a game changer! From over 22 pounds to 8, it was much easier to move around. No cord to trip over, much smaller footprint, and it can get into places the other wasn't able to. Ready for another 15 year lifespan vac (I hope!)

So far the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute has been great. I wish it was a little lighter, but overall it is a very nice vacuum. The attachments are really easy to connect and use and it is very maneuverable. The battery charge lasts a long time so you can get the house swept without having to stop and recharge. I am very pleased with this vacuum.

I love, love , love my Dyson. It is has strong suction. It does not charge over 70%, I don’t know why. However I still love it down.

I bought this a few weeks ago and can’t believe how much better it vacuums compared to past purchased vacuums over the last 40 years. I haven’t seen anything compared to this V15. I do wish every attachment had the green light. The green light further illuminates the dust particles on the ground ensuring nothing is missed. Incredible vacuum!

The automatic function sucks. They're very older versions which you can choose medium level are way better.

I’m giving this Dyson vacuum 3 out of 5 stars. The vacuum itself is okay, but for the price, I expected better quality and sturdiness.
I purchased this vacuum brand new (not refurbished) and have only been using it for about two weeks, mainly for spot cleaning rugs and occasional hardwood floors. The LED light attachment is great and definitely helpful, which is one of the reasons I didn’t rate it lower.
However, my main concern is that the parts don’t seem to fit together securely. The pole/attachment doesn’t look like it fully connects properly, and it almost appears broken. I’ve attached a photo showing what I mean. I’m honestly unsure if this is how it’s supposed to be, but it doesn’t feel right—especially for a vacuum at this price point.
I understood going into this purchase that the vacuum doesn’t stand upright on its own and that you need to hold the trigger button to operate it, so those things aren’t issues for me. But even buying this at a discounted Black Friday price, I don’t feel the overall build quality matches the cost.
If this were a refurbished vacuum, I’d be more understanding—but it was advertised as new. Because of this experience, I’m hesitant to purchase another Dyson and may consider a more affordable cordless option instead.
Overall, it works, but the quality and sturdiness just aren’t there for the price, which is why I’m sticking with 3 stars.
