I just received my vacuum and not happy with the attachments. They are dragging against my area rugs and I have to use more force to clean my rugs. Am I using the wrong attachment?

The techno is more advanced than some of the other vacuums. The battery is now detachable, which is nice

Like the V15 Dyson. Suction is great. I do have one complaint. When you empty it the hai and debris does not empty all the way. I have to put my hand up in chamber to get everything out of it. Luckily I have a small hand and can get everything out of it. I had a cordless Dyson before this new one and never had this problem. Considering I got a more expensive model and top of the line I feel like I should not be having this issue.

The suction is good and the fluffy head with the green light works great! I gave it four stars because 1. The first digital motor bar was extremely loud, so thankfully, they sent me another one. It was also loud, but not as loud as the first. 2. The digital motor bar will pull and suck up your rug fibers, not just the dirt. I tried to make it more gentle by adjusting the -/+ bar and lowering the suction, but it still picks up your rug fibers. I know it's not dirt because the fibers appear as fluffy clouds in the basket. I'm afraid it will ruin our wool, persian and cotton rugs. 3. I noticed that if i use the fluffy bar after using the digital motor bar on exactly the same floor, the motor bar leaves behind a lot of small dirt.

Expensive but well made and very efficient. I learned to late that there are different models of this vacuum. Thought I was purchasing the model that has a shorter extension in the larger/normal tube that is available as soon as you remove the longer tube. Not a deal breaker but I wish I knew.

I bought the V15 as a replacement for an old Titan because my wife insists on doing the vacuuming her way. She weighs 90 pounds soaking wet and is 80 yrs old and still going strong. The motor end is heavy to her. I think so myself. There is no printed manual included, a serious defect for a high dollar premium vacuum, as she is not tech literate. Our house is quite large, so one or more extra batteries will be necessary. It's a good machine, but not the right choice for everyone. I'm not certain it was the right choice for her. This may turn out to be one of those "my bad" situations.

I love and hate the dust illuminating light on the floor vacuuming attachment. I can really see all the dust & dirt, but that then compels me to keep vacuuming. It is quiet while I keep on toiling away. My work isn’t even cut short by a dying battery since I purchased a backup battery which is a cinch to change compared to my old cordless Dyson. Thank you Dyson for that design impovement - no more unscrewing and screwing back in, no more stripped screws or stripped screw holes. The suction is great, and the filtration flawless, although I may purchase a HEPA filter as a backup.

Did not believe a stick vacuum would work as good as my old professional vacuum. Was absolutely shocked at its performance! Works just fantastic. Expensive but worth every penny!
