Received as a Christmas gift. You don’t know how dirty your wood floor is until the green light comes on and shows all lint. First time I used highest speed. Didn’t pick up much. Next day used Econo. Slowed beater down and did a much nicer job. Really cleaned better in this mode. Emptying canister easy. Filter looks easy to clean. Need to get another filtered ordered so no down time waiting for filter to dry.
Filter easy to clean. So far battery holding its own. Love how quiet it is. Dies not set my hearing aids off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent choice V-15.

Our third Dyson. We did an upgrade and are very pleased with the V-15 performance. We especially enjoy the green LED light that enhances the ability to see dust and hair particles. We still use our V-11 on our carpets, because its power head is much larger. Our third Dyson is a handheld that we have had for years. We love to use it for the small jobs. We also use it to sweep out our vehicles.

I'm happy with the performance and attachments and cord-free operation.
HOWEVER, the handle/trigger mechanism is painful to hold onto (it rests on your thumb joint) and the vacuum operation does not continue unless you continue to hold the trigger button down! Very annoying.

Great vacuum

Bought it mainly for doing the carpeted stairs and light cleaning of blinds and tight areas. Works well for even more areas. Wish it had a trigger that stayed on until you hit it again to turn it off.

We purchased the V15 Absolute detect about two weeks ago and have been very pleased with our purchase. It is easy to use and does a great job of cleaning. We just keep it charged after every use and have never lacked power to do any job we’ve wanted to do.

My Experience with Dyson

This unit is a replacement. I didn't really need the entire unit to be replaced, because only the rug attachment motor had stopped working. The new unit is easy to use. The rug attachment is working, although it seems flimsier than the one it replaced.
