SHOCKED! At how great this vacuum is!

Had an older Dyson for many years. Always had to have it on super high and so only could go for about 8 minutes. But it was better than the couple of other cordless vacs I'd had in the past. Finally, that one was on its last legs and decided to splurge for a new one. After searching MANY reviews of various brands and models, I decided on the V15 Detect Absolute. First I put on the fluffy optic head because it had a light and thought that was the one to use (obviously didn't read the instructions carefully enough). It didn't seem to do anything on the carpets so I changed to the tangle free comb head. WOW! I couldn't believe how much it picked up and how it fluffed up my 8 year old carpets that I thought needed to be replaced. And it keeps going and going. For my little 1250 sq ft house, I can go at least 2.5 times without recharging. So, for the 2 weeks I've had the V15 Detect, I've only been using the tangle free comb head (it seemed annoying to me that I would have to change the heads for carpeting and hard wood floors). And then, today, I finally decided to try the fluffy optic head on the hard wood floors only. OMG! Now I understand (duh). The green laser light REALLY shows ALL the dust on the hard floors. Well, the floors really got a good cleaning today - light motivates you to get into all the nooks and crannies and under and behind.
I LOVE IT! It is AMAZING! Very happy customer. Hope it lasts.

I really didn’t think a vacuum would be such a life improvement, but I love it. I love that it hangs on the wall, I love that it is cordless, I LOVE that the detail brushes are stored within the stem so they’re always available. I get such satisfaction out of vacuuming with the little green light on. We have a large, constantly shedding dog and it’s been so easy to just whip out the vacuum on the daily and take a few minutes to deal with the hair. Amazing. Very worth the money, although I’m happy I got it 23% off because it ain’t cheap. Hoping that it holds up great with maintenance!

Love this machine, especially the green light which shows all the micro dirt you don't see with naked eye. My floors are so much cleaner. Love the longer battery life.

Incidentally, I still have the Dyson animal that I bought 15 years ago and it still runs great

My kids LOVE to Vacuum!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been Dyson owners for over 23 years now and they just keep getting better. I am a mother of 9 and have to mediate who gets to vacuum. They love the detect feature and will not stop until nothing is detected!! Also the display is awesome showing you everything in real time so you know how much power, charge and anything else you need right there. And obviously it has the amazing Dyson quality that sucks up everything like magic. 23+ years with Dyson and with our newest Dyson it’s like we are newlyweds all over again!!!
