An AMAZING vacuum

After years of using a quality 'standard" vacuum that was not cordless, and having quite a lot of wood flooring and two dogs, I purchased this on the recommendation of a family member. How wonderful to be able to use a cordless vacuum with a laser head that highlights where the dus, dirt, and fur are on the floor! Plus I no longer need to be concerned about checking to see if a bag is full and needs to be replaced. I actually enjoy using this vacuum! Lightweight and easy to maneuver, I can vacuum wood flooring every day within a very short amount of time. I absolutely love it and would not hesitate to recommend. I think my only question is why the floor surface cleaning head has a laser, while the rotating brush head, which I use for carpets and rugs, does not. I still know dirt is being removed even without the laser, simply by checking the collection cylinder. It is an investment, but well worth it!

I bought my first dyson (V10 absolute) in 2018. I was very happy with the product, even though the battery was lasting only 30 minutes (that was the maximum you could get). It was powerful and easy to use. I recently bought my second dyson (v15 detect) which is amazing. It arrived quickly, I e en got a tool set for free. I am really content with this product, and the battery lasts for 60 minutes. I recommended to a friend and she will buy 2 of them for her daughters.

Amazing!

Having two Australian shepherds I was sweeping 2-3 times a day and it even drove the wife nuts. When I got the V15 detect it changed my whole world now it’s super fast, easy and it doesn’t get all the dust up in the air from sweeping. The laser is my favorite part when it comes to cleaning the hardwood. Would totally recommend to a friend.

Quite amazing

We have mostly hard floors with few carpets and rugs. We also have two smooth Collies. It appears one of them is always shedding. We have traditionally had dust bunnies forming quite fast. Getting out the conventional vacuum cleaners is always a pain with cables everywhere and lifting a heavy machine around. Having looked at alternatives we decided to bite the bullet of expense and buy a Dyson. What a revaluation. It’s so easy to use, quiet and light. The laser head shows every small hair and piece of dust. It’s so easy to to just grab the V15 and blast the house. The OCD in me loves chasing the dust and hair. Then using the upholstery head was an eye opener cleaning all the dander off the furniture (even though the dogs don’t go on it). Seeing the fur and dander in the container is amazing. After a couple of weeks the amount of dust is getting less and less. The powered head for carpets is also excellent. The dog grooming attachment is remarkably effective too. Just no mess. With other vacuums the attachments are just useless but all the Dyson bits of kit are remarkably effective and worth having. The delicate brush head is superb on screens, fragile ornaments etc. I’m not one for posting glowing reviews on anything, but I am now a total Dyson convert. Yes it’s expensive but it’s completely worth it. As Apple say ‘It just works’. I’m probably becoming a joke to the family as i use any excuse to use the V15.

Filter issue

I’ve used it eight times so far, and starting from after the first use it said to clean the filter and I had barely even picked up any dust on my hardwood floors at that point. I’ve cleaned the filter and the screen continues to display the same message to clean the filter after every use, which maybe lasts five minutes each time. Seems to be a common issue based on other reviews. Annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this one to replace our very old Dyson which we loved but eventually the battery died. This one has much more power and battery last so much longer. Very pleased with our purchase and the results when we use it.

Yeah, the cleaner is almost perfect. I really like to vacuum just before breakfast. It's like a video game (especially with the green-glowing vacuum-brush accessory). But... The trigger is too sensitive, if it comes to my expectations. It's really easy to unexpectedly run the engine by mistake. For example while detaching the cleaner from the wall. Additionally, I would like to have some kind of run-and-block button available. Simply... to not have to press the trigger all the time of vacuuming. Beside of that, Dyson is perfect.
