Great for dogs

I have 2 black Australian shepherds and this does a fantastic job of getting all the fur out of carpets and floors. I also use it on the patio and in my garage gym and it is able to suck up the super fine pieces of dirt and sand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery does not last

Unfortunately the battery foes not last long, too back there is not a plug in option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just does it all!

Got this a month or so ago
After issue with filter and computer it was replaced and now the unit after one use seems to work great. I love no cord to follow you wherever you go. The docking station works perfect and battery is always charged ready to go!

I liked this vacuum so much I bought one for my son.
First use I was shocked at the level of dirt it picked up. Second use same thing. Third use I was happy that while it continues to have phenomenal suction my house is clearly much cleaner. We have continued to experience significantly higher levels and belief our home is cleaner.

I received my V15 late yesterday afternoon. I used it a little last night. The next morning it was fully charged. I love it, my floors are beautiful. I have hardwood and tile floors & carpet. They are beautiful, I went and and did my carpet and it was so powerful it amazing.

Better Than I Had Imagined

I have an excellent Dyson DC15 Animal Ball vacuum and it still does an outstanding job. But as I've aged I've wanted something lighter, easier to maneuver, but still gives exceptional results. The Dyson V15 Detect has met all my expectations.
Knowing the house needed regular vacuuming I was a bit ambivalent about this chore as the Ball is heavy and I did dread wrestling with the power cord. Now I actually look forward to vacuuming as the V15 is so easy to use and not nearly as tiring as the upright. Plus, I'm through with chore much, much quicker than previously using the Ball. Did I mention how easy it is now to get under the sofa, chairs, tables, etc. without having to attach another tool to reach these low areas?
The V15 is great to use on throw rugs moving the front gates on the power head to the minus (-) position and selecting the Eco mode. Also, leaving the power head on that minus selection also makes it easier to push the vacuum on regular carpet using the Medium/Auto mode. I've not used the Boost mode as I feel that I haven't needed it.

We keep having problems with the filter lite we can put a brand new one on but still tells us to clean and dry other than that it is great for the home

Before purchasing the V15, I thought my previous vacuum did a decent job...I was proven so wrong! The amount of dirt pulled up by the Dyson was staggering, as if the other vacuum was doing nothing. This unit works fantastically; I now feel like my carpets are actually clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!
