Worth every penny

I am never one to splurge and always try to find the best (least expensive) solution to my problems, but between 3 pets, exhaustive research, and a constant need for vacuuming we treated ourselves. First big purchase I’ve ever made that I didn’t feel regret. It checks every box and worth every penny. We now have to fight over who gets to vacuum because we actually enjoy cleaning.

need operating manual

We just received our vacuum. So, we need an operating manual. Can you please help us. We don't understand why a manual could not be included in all the packing and accessories that were in the box. Please help us out, Dyson!

Dyson does not disappoint!

I purchased the V15 Detect last month and I love it!! I have both hardwood and rugs in my home and this vacuum provides a deep clean every time. I’ve read some reviews that the vacuum is heavy. It was heavier then I expected however, the suction is so powerful that I am able to vacuum my house 2400 within 40-50 minutes! This includes changing attachments and emptying the bin. The rugs are not dusty and my floors are spotless. Truly a deep clean. Plus no chemicals nor disposable cloths which is great for the environment and important for me. I could not be happier

The best vacuum ever

Owning many Dyson vacuums over the years, I decided to treat myself to an upgrade. I have 2 high shedding dogs so I am always vacuuming to keep the floor clean. The green laser in the soft roller is life-changing!! The laser has completely changed how I vacuum my home by shinning light (literally) in areas I thought were clean but they really were not. The noise on the machine has been reduced while at the same time there is a noticeable difference in suction power. This is the only vacuum I need and can clean my entire 3,000 sq ft home without the need to charge in between. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to get the ultimate vacuum for their home or business.

I have a dog that sheds all the time. First sweep with my new Dyson and I could not believe the dog hair that came out of my rug!!! and I vacuum all the time.

Best vacuum ever!

I recently received my V15, and I am very obsessed with this awesome vacuum! The best part is the laser light, which illuminates dirt and dust so you can see what needs to be cleaned! The dust glows green like white items glow in black light. And you can see exactly how well this vacuum works when you see that fine dust as well as the bigger debris gone when you pass over it! This vacuum is very lightweight and super easy to maneuver. Works great on wood floors, tile and carpet. I also have the charging stand, which makes it easy to charge and store. Definitely highly recommend the Dyson V15! Worth the investment!

Best vacuum I ever owned

I've always been the vacuum person in our house. I really liked my old Miele canister vac but it dies after about 20 years. The price of the Dyson V15 Detect was scary, but if a vacuum cleaner lasts for 20 years, it's good to have a good one, right? This vac has way exceeded my expectations.
Pros:
It's maneuverable, relatively lightweight and very smartly designed by Dyson's industrial designers. I usually don't go for a lot of bells & whistles in products, but the reveal ("detect") feature for hard floors is amazing. The green laser headlight shows every spec of dirt, crumbs and dust better than I could have imagined. Really helps top clean up areas where I could never see the dirt before.
Even more amazing is the suction power. This thing picks up more dust and dirt than the Miele by a long shot. I can hardly believe it.
Cons:
You have to realize that the streamlined size results in a fairly small collection canister. Coupled with the high-powered suction, I might even have to empty the canister twice while vacuuming. Emptying is easy, but fine dust and hair require a little digging to empty the canister. That's a good thing, because it's picking up so much.
Another con is the trigger: there's no way to switch the vac on and have it stay on. You have to hold it all the time. Also, the design of the trigger guard hurts my index finer after a while. No big deal.
I don't write a lot of reviews and I hardly have time for this, but I cleaned the house yesterday and finally decided that it's such an awesome product that I should let people know, who might be doing the research. I'm not associated with Dyson in any way. I'm just a very satisfied user.
