Absolutely LOVE the V15

I was initially worried having a battery operated vacuum as I like power. I was surprised that this cordless Dyson V15 exceeded my expectations. I LOVE this vacuum. It is not heavy, easy to use and tools snap in and out perfectly. I vacuum several times a day as my parrots make a MESS and this vacuum never fails me. I have mostly wood floors so use the laser light soft head. I certainly know from the laser that my floors are clean. I also have fox terrier dogs who always shed, and i can guarantee a full container of dog hair daily and the laser light helps me get all the fur particles cleaned up. YES, MY HOUSE HAS CLEAN FLOORS, THANKS TO DYSON. Would definitely recommend.

Best handheld vacuum on the market

Dyson is one of the top name brands I think of when I want to buy a high-quality product that I know will last a long period of time and continue to maintain its functionality. After the V7, I finally came to the conclusion that I needed to upgrade my device and this is the product that I chose. Coming from my previous handheld vacuum, this product is a significant upgrade in all aspects i.e., size of canister, battery, automatic sensing, dust detection with a laser...etc.. Don't ignore this product just because of its price tag.

I could not be more pleased with my V15 Detect. I thought my house was clean until I used this vacuum. Excellent quality and features. Very impressive machine.

A deeper shade of clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first cordless vac since the V6 Absolute, and all I can say is ... WOW! After using the V15 Detect for over a week, I absolutely love it. Lots of incredibly smart improvements make it clear that a ton of thought and research went into making this new machine as great as it is. We're a cat home, and this vac does an excellent job cleaning up animal fur--and the redesigned heads don't get tangled at all. The laser attached to the hardwood-floor cleaning head reveals all kinds of dust and dirt you thought you got--and as someone with pollen and dust allergies, I find this especially useful. Plus, the way that the machine automatically adapts suction when going from hardwood floors to carpeting is a game-changer. After a loooong winter indoors, this is going to be the ultimate tool for spring cleaning (and beyond)!

remarkably easy to deploy, with a relatively lightweight construction that makes it easy to maneuver. It's capable of automatically modulating its suction power depending on the surface that it's on.
I am absolutely in love with my Dyson!

Amazing new features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received the new V15 Detect and amazed at the leap forward from prior models (replaced the V11 Absolute). Absolutely love the "laser" feature for hardwood floors. I have a yellow lab that sheds non-stop and was shocked at what the laser detected when vacuuming as it highlighted all of the various dirt/fur that was previously invisible.

It truly is fun to use

I have an English Cream golden retriever. His fur is difficult to see on my wood floors until it clumps. It is astonishing what you see with the laser, which is what makes it fun (along with the light weight of the machine). It's a good thing it's fun, because I would be waiting to vacuum until the clumps occur and by then it's long past needing to be vacuumed.
