Strong and Versatile

Excellent suction power, many attachment options for different cleaning duties. The soft brush is especially well designed for wood and laminate floors. Only downside is emptying the dirt bin is a bit awkward.

I own 2 other Dysons which work great. But it’s nice to have a cordless vacuum that is just as powerful. It’s lightweight and easy to use. We have 3 labs so we constantly have dog hair around. I vacuum everyday, so having the cordless makes it extremely easy. I highly recommend buying one.

This Dyson replaced my old animal Dyson and it was worth waiting for and spending the money. It is easy to use and works extremely well. This Dyson picks up so much dirt and dust. It is doing a fantastic job.

Great vacuum, good luck getting the accessories

I bought this vacuum in January with an accompanying accessory kit. The vacuum is great, despite design aspects of it that I would change, particularly the fact that it doesn't stand by itself, that it has a trigger mechanism, and you have to hold the trigger a certain way or else it will pinch your finger (which gave me blisters). However, my biggest issue is regarding the shipment of the accessories. My order was originally made in January. It is currently April, and still no word of the accessories arriving. It would have been nice if there were any updates on it or something explaining the holdup, but none have been provided. Nevertheless, the vacuum itself is amazing and will suck up YEARS of dust and dirt from your carpets. Hopefully they continue to improve further since the technology is amazing.

Great Performance Sullied By One Significant Flaw

I purchased the V15 Detect right when it launched in March of 2021. Overall, I've been extremely impressed with the performance of the V15 as a primary household vacuum cleaner. The Laser Slim Fluffy cleaner head is an absolute game changer when it comes to bare floor cleaning, and truly shows you how filthy your floors are, and how effective it is at cleaning them thoroughly. It is so effective at removing fine dust off flooring surfaces that I hope Dyson eventually miniaturizes this cleaner head for use on glass tabletops and granite countertops.
The "Hair Screw" tool is equally impressive for removing debris and hair off of any surface without tangling around the brush roll.
The motorized cleaner head with the "anti-tangle comb" is just as effective at removing hair from carpeted surfaces without any entanglement around the brush bar. The motorized cleaner head, coupled with the powerful suction of the V15, has proven to do an exceptional job at deep cleaning carpets in our household on a near daily basis.
Despite the wonderful performance of the V15 Detect, the primary, and significant, drawback of this machine is the propensity of hair tightly wrapping around the "shroud" within the clear bin. My wife's long hair wraps around the shroud almost instantly, and once that happens, other debris such as cat hair and fluff builds up around the entangled hair. Although the bin-emptying process involves a red silicon squeegee that is intended to remove all debris from the shroud, most of it is remains wrapped around the shroud. Now it has become routine maintenance to completely remove the clear bin and wipe down everything with a microfiber cloth whenever I need to empty the clear bin, which is essentially every time I vacuum the house.
Because of this issue, I can honestly see myself changing this out for a different model in the near future - perhaps an Outsize.... I sincerely hope that Dyson redesigns the whole clear bin/shroud design sooner than later, because I am starting to get tired of having to thoroughly cleaning my machine every time I use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dyson detect with laser head

This is an outstanding vacuum truly impressed by the tech that’s built into this unit. However I am a little disappointed by the fluffy laser head, it’s not even a week old and the wheels squeak on the laser head. For the price of this vacuum they should be as quiet as the actual vacuum.

Excellent suction, a bit too top heavy for me. I’m an older woman my wrist cannot handle the weight, have to take breaks after 3-5 minutes.
