The best I’ve see up to now

I bought my Dyson about three weeks ago, I’m in love with it is the best thing I’ve ever had. I’ve tried a lot of brands and products and nothing like this I would spend my money again with my eyes closed for this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This sucks! But in the best way

Woah....
This thing sucks EVERYTHING out of your carpets!
I just got it and prior to using it, I ran through the house with a semi slow vacuum with my V8.
I then did a somewhat quick vac on eco, not even auto, with the v15 and FILLED the canister past the max line!!! (Pictured below)
I'm disgusted that all of that was still in my carpets. And.. we have a Roomba i7 that I run daily!
Now I did try to use auto mode, with the head all the way open and it has so much suction it kept stopping the rollers!
This is awesome and also a bummer, because I'd like to use that option, but also awesome knowing it even HAS that much power!
And we have a pretty low pile carpet.
I'm definitely excited about the power when it comes to using it handheld, or for edges because those are things I struggled with, with my V8
I haven't used the soft roller with light yet because I want to wait till it's dark lol
I'll have to come back in a few days/couple weeks and update again.
So far this is amazing and I really love that I can see how much time I have left.
I considered the v11 but at the time of buying this it was only another $100 for the v15 and only made sense to go all the way!
It's surely an investment but WORTH IR
I would recommend this to a friend!

Am I not a clean person?

We have had our Dyson V15 Detect for about a month now, and every time we use it we fill up the bin, this gave me the feeling of "I'm not a very clean person", Ok ok, I won't beat myself up too much. We have 3 dogs that have short hair, but they shed much more then we think. We now vacuum 3 times a week and each time we pick up tons of dog hair. This vacuum is great on tiled floors and even better on carpet. This vacuum has made me a compulsive cleaner now! There are some design issues though. I have big hands and I can't grab the machine without hitting the trigger, this can be potentially dangerous. I also find it very difficult to change attachments and so does my wife. Can we just put an on/off switch on this? I tried using it in my car too, and found it to be very difficult, no hose attachment makes this useless for the car.

My two disappointments are: the hard floor cleaning head isn’t not on a swivel which makes it hard to maneuver. Also, the vacuum gets heavy when vacuuming a whole house.

I’ll be brief…3 cats, 4200 sq ft hone,,hardwood, laminate ,tile and carpet, 3 sets of stairs. This vacuum DOES IT ALL AND VERY WELL. Lasts a FULL HOUR. MAJOR SUCTION. Warns you when it’s blocked or low on charge. It is in the PREMIUM of vacuums in its class and SO WORTH IT. VERY VERY LIGHT..

Best investment for carpeted stairs as vacuum

We bought this a few weeks ago mainly for the stairs but I also used it in the loft and bedroom area after use of the older dyson house vacuum and was shocked as to what our other much older dyson regular house vacuum version didn't pick up just before using this one. The sand, and dirt that I suppose were deep enough that the other older version dyson regular house vacuum couldn't get this one did it with no problem, we are going to get the more up dated version dyson house vacuum to go with this awesome powerful Dyson V15 Detect that we got for our stairs, Great investment in our opinion.

Initially, was a little hesitant buying a cordless vacuum as I though the suction wouldn’t be great. It is the best vacuum we have ever owned. Lightweight as easy to use. Picks up dirt on every surface, Even works on tennis ball fuzz which no other vacuum could remove from my car carpeting.
I would recommend this to a friend!
