Super suction

You’ll be shocked when you see what this vacuum picks up. It has great suction power on both floors and carpet. The head pivots nicely to get into nooks and crannies. It comes with plenty of attachments and the fact that it can become a portable vacuum for stairs and upholstery cleaning is great. I do wish that you did not have to hold the button in while vacuuming. I do experience hand and arm fatigue so you will need to take breaks while vacuuming if you have a large area like I do. A on/off switch would be more convenient. The other drawback is that the vacuum will not stand upright so you need to rest it against a wall, a piece of furniture or on the floor when not in use. I have never been a fan of bagless vacuums so this is a drawback as well because you need to stop and empty the canister and the dust does spew out a bit. Finally, a tote bag to hold all the accessories would be a nice feature as well, especially for what this vacuum costs. Overall, I would recommend this vacuum just for its cleaning ability!

Not as I expected

I have heard so many great things about this vacuum, and was looking forward to getting it. I feel it doesn't move on the floors as well as I had hoped and doesn't seem to glide as easily. I was expecting for the money I spent to have a better product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I can’t believe it took me so long to buy it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dyson is just amazing, I have a small house so there is plenty battery life to do so. It cleans so well that I just can’t believe it took me so long to but it! Cleans my space rugs super easy(my long hair and my cat hair is gone!!

Comparison isn't fair...

I loved my Kirby. But after using it at home on my entire first floor, this new Dyson I bought for the office pulled up two entire containers of debris. Needless to say, my V15 didn't make it to the office. I'm debating whether I want to buy a second one. I cannot believe I am excited about a frickin' vacuum cleaner. The Laser seems like a total gimmick until you use it. It's unbelievable the stuff it shows. My friends are already getting tired of me yammering about it, so I'm having to tamp down my enthusiasm. I would love to work on the R&D team of this company.

Best vacuum I’ve ever owned

Stronger suction than any of my previous vacuum, easier to clean, quicker to use, the dirt in my house doesn’t stand a chance!

I love this vacuum. I have back problems and this vacuum is so much easier than using a broom. I have also noticed my furniture is not as dusty. Very pleased with my purchase.

I bough this for Mother’s Day gift just like a cordless drill cutting the cord on the vacuum is wonderful. The laser shows dirt you can’t other wise see then it’s gone. Third Dyson vacuum I’ve had in 15 years the old ones still work this one just works better.
