My husband is 82 and has problems maneuvering around, but he loves the Dyson 15. You may ask why is he using it and not me. The answer is simple because he can. He wants to contribute to maintaining our house and this machine allows him the opportunity.

Great Vacuum, but having issues

The vacuum is awesom, but the “particle count” (and, therefore, the “auto” function) stopped working on Day 2. I was graciously sent a replacement laser attachment, but the issue persists. I hope we can get this fixed up. Fingers crossed.

I love all of the different attachments and how they each have a specific purpose! I recently discovered that turning off all the lights and vacuuming with the soft roller with the green light is the best way to use this attachment. I was so humbled to see how nasty my floors actually were in the dark. This vacuum does wonders!

Light but powerful

Amazed at what I got out of my carpets when I used my new vacuum the first time! Very powerful and light. I started looking for a new vacuum because I didn’t like dragging my heavier corded vacuum up and down my stairs. This vacuum is perfect for the stairs and I will use it for the entire house because it cleans so much better too. I actually get it out to show friends when they come over, I am so impressed.

One Great Cordless Vacuum

I just received my very first Dyson cordless vacuum, the V15 Detect, and I can't say enough about this machine. I absolutely love it!! I was looking for a vacuum that I could use on my carpeted upstairs and stairs, as well as my tiled downstairs. My house is about 2600 sq feet and I can clean my entire house on a single charge! The suction is fantastic and my carpets actually look better than when using a plug in vacuum!
I appreciate the laser head for my tiled floors and it's hard to believe all of the little specs of dust that it illuminates. I got a great deal buying direct from Dyson, in that I received a floor stand and some extra tools. This may not be an inexpensive vacuum; however, it is well worth the money!! Contrary to some reviews, I am over 75 and I don't find the vacuum heavy in the least.

I hate to vacuum!

I can't believe I am loving to vacuum! No cord, no hoses, not heavy, no special adjustments from carpet to floor, this is just the best. I have had a housekeeper for 40 years and since she's sick, I am cleaning the house myself. I am going to get a second one for the downstairs. And there is not that weird vacuum smell like my house vac has!
