Had it one month. The battery plays out too quick and thehandle is not comfortable in your hand. I don’t like that
you have to hold the red button down to keep the vacuum on. That rubs a blister on my hand. I know it’s a safety feature but I don’t like it. Causes a blister. Cordless is nice and it picks up great. I am deciding if I want to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best vacuum ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vacuum so much that I actually get excited to use it EVERYDAY! I have a toddler whom constantly walks barefoot on our floor so I needed a vacuum that met my needs: smooth, powerful, comfortable and lightweight. This one met all my expectations through the roof! The laser is probably my favorite part because I never miss a single crumb or dirt that when I walk barefoot my feet always feels clean. I really don’t think anyone else can make an even better vacuum than this.

I believe this is my fifth Dyson vac and this is head and shoulders above all previous. Powerful when you want it to be, versatile settings are great. Plus, the light on the wood floor attachment is pretty amazing.

GREAT VACUUM

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this vac a week ago and I LOVE IT!!! Having three dogs (heavy shedders) I couldn’t keep up with all the dog hair and it wrapping around and taking the time to detangle was alot of work. Now I am able to vac the whole house almost everyday and can’t believe how much pet hair it picks up, tangle free .. It is easy to empty and clean. The different tools are easy to enterchange. Well worth the money, has made me less frustrated with all the pet hair and dander. It’s actually enjoyable to use it and then you see what a deep clean you
did.

A suck above the rest

This vacuum cleaner found so much dirt in clean carpets I was almost embarrassed for the old one. It’s light. It’s powerful. The support is incredible. An App with videos. Simple registration. Easy to assemble. And great design. Loving it.

Great but…

I have a living room about 18’ x 15’. I have a rug that’s 15’x 12’. I also have a 70lb Australian shepherd and a husband who works in the trades so both track in dirt and dust. I vacuum weekly and each time I vacuum the rug I have to empty the canister 4-5 times—which I wasn’t expecting. The pros though is that 1) it picks up ALL and I do mean ALL of the dog hair and 2) it can vacuum the entire rug, dining area and hallway on one charge (the dinning area and hallway do not have a rug).
I just wish I didn’t have to empty the canister so often. Before purchasing I was comparing this model to the outsize which has a much bigger canister but decided against it because I didn’t want to deal with the extra weight of the outsize. But it would’ve been nice to have a larger capacity canister without the heaviness—less trips to the trash can. Note the capacity of the v15 is about 1/3 the size of the body of the handheld portion.
Also you have to keep your finger down on the trigger. There’s some pros and cons to that but if you’re not expecting to have to do that, heads up it’s a thing. It caught me off guard the first time I used my vacuum and my finger was sore after vacuuming but by the second time, I was used to it.
If you’re contemplating getting it, I would recommend it just for the fact that it does a fantastic job picking up dog fur and really gets all of the dust and dirt out of a rug.

Perfect for ceramic floors to carpet!

The Dyson V15 Detect makes vacuuming our ceramic floors so easy. And with detect, you will find more dog hair than you thought possible. Could not be happier with the V15 detect.
