This is a very nice vacuum although pricey. The one thing we would have enjoyed more was an on/off switch that says on.

A new level of cleanliness!

This vacuum has improved my life tremendously. It kicked me out of the doldrums of blah, housework to OMG, cleaning is a satisfying, quick, activity which is a pleasure to do. It has extended its inspiration to other chores which suddenly get done without much concern. I'm sort of on a new level of cleanliness. The lightweight design, the many choices of tools, easy handling for all types of surfaces, and the amazing laser light revealing that level of dirt we didn't know existed, all means that this vacuum has actually changed my life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my Dyson V15 Detect+

I have had a Dyson for the last 10 years, this beats any that i have owned. I love the light detection, it will make you want to vacuum all the time as you can see every hair and piece of dirt! The suction is phenomenal and we bought the stand which i highly recommend.

I grew up in the era of giant, bagged vacuums with the weight of a kraken. When I moved to my own place I figured we're in the future and robo-vacuums were a thing so I had purchased it exclusively... big mistake. Aside from it dying prematurely, it only did a sufficient job and was designed to be used in conjunction with a vacuum... If you're going to do something you ought to do it right and having used a family member's V11 I was so surprised by the performance I figured a V15 was in my future.
I won't lie, I was a bit hesitant: "Will a cordless vacuum really be enough?" I am happy to report with a resounding yes. The vacuum itself is highly efficient due to its' lightweight for maneuverability (for both coverage and hard to reach areas) and suction power. We have 3 cats and I was able to remove a significant amount of hair in buildup areas in as little as two passes if not a single. On the auto setting, I had used up 45% of battery in 15 minutes but arguably I covered more area than I would a traditional corded vacuum as the suction was more powerful and I didn't have the hassle of either weight/cord slowing me down plus my household was out of a vacuum for two weeks when my robot vacuum died.
Either way, I highly recommend it and foresee this being my primary vacuum for another decade.

I LOVE my Dyson

I have two large heavy-shedding shepherds. One has a beard and dribbles water all over. His feet and fur track in garden dirt, debris and dust.
The Dyson V15 Detect has changed our life. I can grab it as needed and also do a more thorough vacuum every day. When the dog dribbles water, the paper towel does not wipe up brown anymore. There’s no more particulate dirt on the floor.
