Almost As Good As My Phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first smartwatch. My Watch8 is very handy for those times I don't want to (or need to) carry my cell phone. The auto-start feature for my walking is so handy! I find the health tracking app very useful; something I never did using my phone. Customizing my Watch8 from my phone makes it easy to change watch face and rearrange the app menu.

Love my Galaxy watch 8

The battery life is amazing and still able to do laps in pool and not take watch off.
So glad to have upgraded my Galaxy watch.

Love the overall product and customization

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a student so I use my watch to count my steps, see my body comp and reflect on how I can improve my sleep. I really like the products features basic features like the step counts, sleep and energy score. But I noticed switching from my Watch 6 to 8, my sleep and energy score decreased and the analysis didn't really make sense to me. The watch would say I was awake for like 3 minutes in the night but mark it as a completely different sleep, causing a sleep that was like 6-7 hours(no pun intended), to like 4-5 hours. Which in sleep it would also so I was awake, so why couldn't it also be in the same sleep??? So that really confused me and the whole sleep consistency is VERY confusing. I really like the body comp but if I wish it could tell you advice like the sleep coaching. And like more personalized workouts and maybe food recommendations. I know it's alot but yeahh. I love steps counting it's REALLY accurate. I don't really use the run coaching but choosing running as exercise and like the tracking is AMAZING. And I highkey wish there was an option to move to travel different running or walking. Because when I run, I tend to run for like 3mins then walk, and alternate and I wish it tracked that. But overall, I really love the Watch ., but I think some features can be more personalized like body comp and sleep score can be improved. I don't use the Galaxy AI because I would rather use it on my phone and it doesn't respond when I want to.

Ive had it for a few months now, and it is my new motivation to get moving with hourly reminders to take a stretch or move around (only if you are staying still for almost an hour). Galaxy AI, Samsung Wallet and Media Controller are just a few examples of what you can do with simply a few taps on your wrist. The physical features of the watch are inasanely good, with its easy-to-use wristband because previous watches had a mechanism to put the wristband on the watch, which took at least 45+ seconds on average (even lknger is you put the wristand on the wrong side of the watch), while this newer model gets thew wristband on with a quick snap. And if you accidentally put the wristband backwards on the watch, you can easily push the wristband off and snap it back on in the right direction. Overall, from the sick features to its overall performance, I highly recommend this watch to those who have small wrists.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded my watch & love that it has more features! I can still use AI - I prefer Bixby, but can use Galaxy.
I like my always on screen where I uploaded a picture of me! & the avatar moves around on the screen.
The band was much easier to change than the 3.
Battery life is good so far.
I do miss that I can't just make my watch be on silent mode without it telling my phone to also be on silent mode.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being an epilepsy patient I was fascinated when I found that I could connect MyChart medical record to my Samsung health so I don't have to worry about any emergency incidents.
Trying different smartwatches, the maximum emergency I can apply is calling 911 or my emergency contact in case of a fall.
