Great Watch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Watch8 pairs nicely with my S25+. It just does daily things well, and is useful day in and day out. I try to upgrade to the newest model via trade-in every year, so we'll see what the Watch9 has to offer.

I love a very active lifestyle cuz I have an active job it's nice to see how active I am throughout the day and how that affects my energy score or my sleep at night. I never realized how little deep sleep I got until I got my watch and now I understand why I never feel well rested

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really been liking the Galaxy Watch 8 so far. I use it every day for notifications, tracking steps, checking messages, controlling music, and just staying connected without always grabbing my phone. The watch looks clean, feels comfortable to wear all day, and runs really smooth.
The health and fitness tracking has been one of my favorite features. I like being able to track my activity, heart rate, sleep, and workouts all in one place. Everything syncs quickly with my Samsung phone and the overall experience feels really seamless. The display is bright and easy to read, even outside, and navigating through apps feels fast and responsive.
I’ve also been enjoying some of the Galaxy AI features and smart functions because they actually make daily use easier. Being able to quickly respond to messages, check reminders, or glance at notifications without pulling my phone out all the time has been super convenient.
Another thing I really like is being able to switch out the watch bands depending on my mood or style. I like that I can customize it to fit my personality and make it look more sporty, casual, or dressed up whenever I want.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the battery life wasn’t the best for me at first. Some days it drained faster than I expected, especially with certain settings turned on. But after changing a few settings and customizing things a little, I was able to get a lot more battery life out of it and it’s been much better since

I bought this to replace my very old Fitbit. While the screen of the new watch can do fancy things, the battery life isn't even half of what my extremely old Fitbit was. I've taken off most of the programs that track various things and always have the battery saver on, but it only lasts for a few days. What is the point of having access to the different programs if running them is going to kill the battery in a day?
Also the extremely expensive band I got with it gave me an awful rash on my wrist that still hasn't gone away even though I've bought off-brand ones and have changed arms.
I wish I could send it back, but I'm probably over the return time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Traded in my 7 for the 8. Got the big one. It's probably too big for me but idc. I love that i can see the screen so much better. Battery lasts me 2 days. Way better than the 7 and I loved my 7. I do not regret this upgrade.
