Purchased Samsung Galaxy Watch8 as a gift for wife. She wore another brand and I believed this watch would be better. As the watch offers more options, the battery drained faster and required charging each day which was my daily ritual. It took a bit to refine what features were needed for her and extend battery life. She just wanted to monitor steps and sleep status. This is my 3rd Galaxy watch, Watch3, Watch6 and this Watch8. As with all personal wearable electronic products and cell phones, a little time to understand features available and customizing to personal preference does require a little investment of time to refine for personal daily use. I still have not found reason to use all available features for either phone or watch.

This is my first smart watch and I'm very pleased with the performance! It's fairly easy to navigate. There is a good selection of faces to choose from and many are very customizable. The body sensors seem to be pretty accurate. The battery life has been great, lasting at least 36 hours between charging. My only criticism so far, is not being able to remove the pre installed apps that I don't want.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love being able to check notifications while my hands are full or use the remote camera shutter to get the perfect angle of my house projects or use the Galaxy AI features to like the sleep tracking has also been a game-changer for making sure I'm actually recovering after a long day of yard work. Sleek, fast, and very intuitive. Highly recommend this watch to complete your Samsung bundle!
