Don't buy if you would like long battery life

I went from a Fit Bit to a Galaxy Watch because of an AT&T promotion. While there is a function or two I do like the watch battery life is the ABSOULUTE WORST! I have turned everything to the bare minimum and the watch cannot hold a charge for more then 24 hours. It reminds me to wear while asleep. If I do that (which I would like to do) then the watch dies during the day. This watch is only about 6 months old and I'm ready to change it. Really what good is it if you cannot get even a full day out of the battery.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Updates made from the 6 and 7 series to deliver a more efficient model that is lightweight and thinner, making for 24/7 wear more tolerable. Don't love the bands but the watch itself is very snappy and works flawlessly. Battery was a concern but getting consistent full day use, outside of gps use.
