[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to this watch to replace my Watch 7 for everyday use. It is great, but the only complaint I have is that I had to buy all new watch bands. The watch uses a specific clip, so I couldn't use any of my old bands.

You can never go wrong with a Samsung watch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the all new galaxy AI it's even easier to use due everyday purposes. This watch works perfect for me while I'm working in my construction field. It tells me how many steps I take, heart rate and when I'm exercising and when I'm idle. It even tells me when i need to stretch etc. It's perfect for all occasions and you can also talk on it if your phone isn't close to you. I love it and all of the features just a overall smart buy!!

Galaxy AI coming to a wrist near you!

This device, along with my recently purchased Samsung S26 Ultra, make a powerful Galaxy AI combination with the Samsung Health app. The trusty Galaxy Watch 8 on my wrist does so many things, too many to list here, and I use it pretty much all day. At night I use the Sleep score and Energy score tracking and review those in the morning. These are very in-depth reports that you get 24/7. I fire up the Walking program with GPS and take a brisk 25 minute walk in the early AM. Around midday I hit the gym and use both the Weight machines program for a 40 minute weight session, then follow that with 25 minutes of cardio using the Bike indoor program. Yet another cool feature is I can use the NFC to connect via Wi-Fi to my gym’s fitness bike, and it tracks the cadence RPM, MPH, pulse rate, average heart rate, distance, power, and 1 mile split times and speed, heart rate zones, all recorded to the Samsung Health app. Then after the gym I can keep track of my total steps, current weather and forecast, and outdoor UV. Not to mention all the notifications and apps you can pick and choose to receive. You can get text messages, phone calls, email, even talk to Gemini via the built-in speaker (so you have Galaxy AI on your wrist!).
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Battery drains faster than how it was described. It only goes for 24 hours then has to be charged again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so glad I have a watch now. I've never had a smart watch before but this has become really useful. At work I don't have to worry about losing important messages I can just do a quick reply from the watch and all set. And its very convenient to have for training. I have a bit of running experience but the Galxy AI running coach has been a game changer. Since I don't have an actual coach is hard to keep track of my runs and find way to improve it. With the running coach feature I have been consistently improving.
