I started out with an ultra and switched to an 8. I was very happy with the ultra except for it feeling so heavy on my arm. I went to the 8 because it was almost half lighter than the ultra. The battery life on the 8 once it learns what you use it for is great just like the ultra. The price is on par as well.
This is my third mistake with Samsung. Bought the 3, 4 and now the 8. All of them with less than good battery life. It's awful that such a big company sells such a disappointing battery. Max time is 24 - 36 hours. Safe to say I've purchased an android watch with 5+ days for battery and won't be going back to Samsung.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First Smart Watch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased th Galaxy 8 watch 2 months ago. It blew me away. It was an impulse buy. . A smartwatch was something I'd wanted to few years now but just didn't have the extra income to ever get one. Few months back I was able to. It was the customization that blew me away. I felt like I was wearing a different type of watch each time I put it on. It was perfect. I had some financial issues last month and unfortunately had to take it back.
I am enjoying my Galaxy watch 8. There's only one problem. The battery needs to be charged more often and the battery drains more quickly. That being said, I am glad that I upgraded.
