The holster is a replacement for my original. The pins that go into the slot came off after 2.5 years. I have used Otterbox products on my iPones beginning with my iPhone 6.

Works great as always….i have used the case that has this clip for many years….and over time it just got weak and would not keep my phone clipped…..nothing wrong with the product ….I simply wore it out!! So Was very happy to see they offered the clip replacement without having to buy a new case also!

I bought a caring case for my new iPhone 12,..the case the sight prescribed - it was too large,..the phone couldn't be secured in the case. And on top of it i paid extra for expressed shipping. I was so annoyed i threw it in the trash.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
