My go to lanterns in time of emergency. Provides a bright when the power goes out and Light enough to carry from room to room. I Hope I never need it but I know I have portable light in time of a crisis.

Lantern description says it’s rechargeable. It is not supplied with a recharging module. As if this wasn’t disappointing enough, Colman has discontinued the “optional” recharging module and a new module is nowhere to be found. Plenty of other non-Colman rechargeable lantern options in the market. If you’re brand loyal you need to be prepared to be brand disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
