Great little machine

Just got my new cover stitch machine. Still learning all its' possibilities. Really like all my Brother Sewing and Embroidery Machines.

Very easy to use

I have worked in a professional setting with an industrial cover stitch machine. This model compares very favorably to it. It was easy to set up and the first times I've used it, it handled heavier double knit as well as lighter knit with no adjustments. I have also another combo serger/cover stitch machine and now will try to sell it. This machine is also at a great price.

this machine is awesome .. very easy to learn how to use although disconnecting the fabric from it takes a bit of practice .. it does cut hemming down to about one third of what it used to take. I cannot watit for prom alterations to begin

I've started making my own tennis clothes. My serger has coverstitch capability but it s so cumbersome to have to rethread and setup. I'm thrilled to have purchased the 2430CV. It is so easy to use and the stitch quality is very good. My new tennis skorts look so professionally finished now!!

It took a few hours of using the 2340CV cover stitch machine to understand how it works. I am so glad I bought it. Now I can do real hem seams in my stretch garments instead always a zigzag stitch. My hems look professional. However, I have trouble removing my garment from under the presser foot. It doesn't want to let it go. I went to YouTube for help. I found one that works for me.

I needed to add this feature to my state of sewing machines - I really like the cover stitch for hemming - find the fabric a bit hard to get out of the machine - also cuffs are hard to manipulate inside out - am still figuring out tensions etc - find the threading quite easy - like th color coding
