This machine has everything you need!! Flush extension table, all the feet, thread cutter, tons of stitches, lots of sewing room, and is very portable. My new favorite...sorry Patchwork :(

Tension issues

I bought this in February and after fighting with the tension and other issues this machine was sent to be fixed at a repair shop. Same issues when I got it back. So Singer had me return it to them and they replaced it with another same machine. This one has more problems than the first, mostly with the tension, almost impossible to do any fancy stitches. I RECOMMEND NOT PURCHASING THIS MACHINE. I think overall the Singer machines are poor quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

Very disappointed. Machine manual is by far the worst one yet. Definitely should proofread. Does not cover all the feet and states this model has no extension table in which it does. Still trying to figure out the correct bobbin to use. Class 15J or Class 15 transparent bobbin. I was excited about this machine. However thinking I should pack it up and return it. This machine was replacing my 6800C HD. So disappointed CMON SInger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew I needed a modern sewing machine in my life until now. The smart features on it are incredible. I especially love the self sewing option. There are so many different stitches. You can try and I love that the instruction card on how to get the different stitches is embedded into the machine so you never lose it. It was also super easy to set up and get started right away.

Great for someone who has been sewing for years or for a beginner like myself. This machine has 417 stitch applications. My favorite part I love is personalizing projects. The SINGER C7290Q includes a lettering font to personalize projects with custom words, phrases or monograms. I love doing cute designs for my son. The Led screen makes it easy for me to see and pick specifically what I need for the project I am working on.
