Small footprint, customization is great,but base tray doesn't drain well

Does what it needs to do with little counterspace, and it's a great sturdy piece. The moveable hooks and utensil cup are awesome. Knocked a star off because the base tray doesn't do a decent job of self-draining. A large amount of water will slowly collect around the drain hole, but not actually pour through (even when I rock the tray back and forth, water will move AROUND the drain hole). For the price, I wish the base tray were executed better. What would make this better is if the base tray were designed with a steeper slope toward the drain, and the ridge peaks were thinner, not so squared off so water doesn't have a chance to pool on top of each ridge.

I cant believe I lived this long without it!!

I live in a tiny NYC apartment where space comes at a premium - I recently discovered this dish drying rack and it is so wonderful. I'm not joking that it has improved my quality of life exponentially!! It's well crafted, fits in small spaces, the design is genius and you can fit MANY dishes in the rack. It makes me excited to wash the dishes! I would buy again in an instant.

This is an excellent quality dish rack, it fits perfect in my small kitchen and I love the ability to have two levels for drying. Super modern and the movable drain spout is definitely a plus. I've had too many cheap dry racks that spilled, rusted, and just didn't last long. So far this dish rack is worth the investment.

Great quality and perfect for small kitchens

I am really impressed with the quality and aesthetic appeal of this dish rack. I recently moved to an apartment that has just a tiny square of counter space that's right next to the sink and my old dish rack took up the whole space and then some. This one takes up less than half of it and looks much nicer. My only wish is that the basket had some tines (I don't know if that's the right word) sticking up to hold plates up and things like that.

I’ve never been one to own a dish rack because the thought of having a big, bulky plastic cage on my countertop never interested me. Also too, I’ve stayed away from natural materials like bamboo or wood because they are more prone to mold and water damage. After a few too many broken glasses while drying them on the countertop through the pandemic, I started on my quest to find a compact dish rack that looked great on the counter and didn’t take up too much space.
When I received the dish rack, set up was extremely simple. I can’t even remember setting it up. That’s how easy it was. The material and construction of this dish rack are so pleasing to look at, whether it’s empty or full of drying dishes. The double tier set up with adjustable bottom tray allows me to fit just about 2 days worth of dishes with super minimal counter space. Of course bigger pots and pans need to be laid out on the counter still, but all of my dishware fits perfectly within the rack. I love the swiveled spout that drains water from the bottom tray, which allows you to position the rack on the counter any which way and guide the water into the sink for drainage.
This drying rack brings me more joy than I care to admit, but I really can’t recommend it enough. Especially for smaller spaces where everything is always within my line of sight. Great job Yamazaki Home! You nailed it.

Exceeded Expectations

This dish rack exceeded my expectations. The two-tier design gives us so much more counter space, and the rack surprisingly accommodates large pots and pans. It is sturdy but not bulky. The three drying hooks are especially useful. I highly recommend this dish rack.
