heat & cool to the same value - why???

For the most part, the T10+ is doing its job. It is possible to set the cooling and heating temperatures to the same values. This sets off a conflict in the thermostat - heat comes on and swings temperature higher than setting, then cooling comes on and swings temperature lower than setting, etc. It's perpetual and soon the system starts to stink with the constant switching. Even old slider thermostats will not allow heating and cooling settings to be the same. Why does the T10???

Doesn't do the basics

The app does not have many features and does not work properly.
There is no way to know what equipment is running from the app. Stage 1 heat, stage 2 heat? Who knows! Is the fan running? Again, who knows.
Adjust the schedule? Nah, that doesn't work. Just fails to save every time. Permanent hold does though, so at least I was able to do that from the app.
It is a beautiful thermostat and beautiful app as far as looks go, but when it doesn't work then it's just a dumb blon, err I mean, thermostat with lipstick on.
These are easy features that are easily solved with your competitors product, which in all fairness is a better product altogether. Step up your Game, you'd think Honeywell means quality but in reality this offering leaves a lot to be desired.

Good solid unit with great features.

This is an excellent thermostat with great features. The remote sensors really enhance the useability and value of this unit. The only downside I have realized is lag time it takes for the phone app to catch up to the actual device. It is not hard to install. I did it myself.

Heats until uncomfortably warm, then off until uncomfortably cool.

The thermostat will start running your system until reaching the set temperature and then will cycle the system to maintain that temperature without letting the inside temperature getting above or below the setpoint. I have had no problems with mine, but I have only had it for 4 years. Works great We'll buy again if it ever goes out.

So far I havnt had any issues with these stats. I am an hvac professional that installs a lot of honeywell stats
